Villa Borghese is a landscaped garden in Rome that contains a number of buildings, museums and attractions. The third largest park in Rome.
The park is home to the Borghese Art Gallery, which belongs to the Borghese family and was founded by Cardinal Scipione Caffarelli Borghese. The National Gallery of Modern Art is also located in the school garden. The garden covers 80 hectares of land.
One of the richest Roman gardens in which you can meet different buildings, sculptures, monuments and fountains, works of art from the Baroque and Neoclassical eras, surrounded by trees, lakes and green spacious areas.
The perfect place to learn about painting while mingling with centuries-old nature and architecture.
Program
1. Walking and sightseeing in the Borghese park Understanding basic shapes.
2. Discussion of basic shapes (circle, square, triangle) and their importance in drawing.
3. Participants practice drawing the given shapes. Shading techniques and shadowing after which they draw simple shapes found in Villa Borghese.
4. Sharing of work with the others and discussion with each other.
