If you are interested in neuroscience, this is one of the topics you will definitely want to study in more detail. The studies of neuromarketing are used to predict customer's behaviour, but the fact is that these studies are too expensive unless you are a big brand who can afford it. That is why some of them are even using them to manipulate their customer, which is not moral and it shouldn't be something we use in marketing.

How to use neuromarketing knowledge for small business?
To actually make one of the neuromarketing research, you would need to use the brain scanning tools which is not something small business can afford. But, everything in marketing at the end is founded in psihology and neuromarketing. This means, that the colurs we use to represent our brand, the images, the video and all of the other content for social media that we create affacts customers. Here is also included the customer care.
So here are some things you have to pay attention to when it comes to social media:
Make sure to choose the right colours for your brand
Put an effort in visuals
Target emotions (with music, touching messages, stories behind your brand - depends on your product/service)
Let your customers know you care for them
Become a habit (when your customers get used on you and you create them a habit they will less and less be able to stop following you, since making habits and sticking to them is in human nature)
Use happy customers as "social proof" ( people are more likely to buy something after they see happy customers who used it before them.)
The power of colours
Visual image is really important when we want to attract customers attention. This is where choosing the right colour plays a big differacne. It is not the same if you use bright or dark colour since it all depends on which message you are trying to send and which emotion you want to cause from your target audience.
For example, bright images create a sense of security and clarity of the message. They are associated as something positive, so even before "reading" the message, just by seeing the colour, the customer will connect it with something positive. On the other side, dark images are associated with mystery and they make readers being more courious and focus on the message. However, it can be also connected to something sad.
It is also important to understand that each colour can be represented in different way, like red can represent love but also anger. So it always depends on how you use the colours and which message you want to send to your customers. In other words, how you want to make them feel after watching/reading/seeing it.
