The question we have been constantly asking for some time is: "What is the future of Instagram?". We have witnessed numerous problems that this social network has been facing lately, which leads us to question its future as well as what it entails, such as Influencer Marketing.
Despite the fact that Instagram is trying again and again to attract a new target group by introducing changes, it is becoming more and more obvious that it is not succeeding in it. In fact, even those who have been loyal users of this social network are slowly losing interest in it. Namely, the big problem of Instagram is its congestion with information. Today we can find almost everything there, from a needle to a locomotive.
This is exactly where users start to get lost, and those who use this social network for work constantly struggle with logarithms to reach the target group, which leads them to frustration, and sometimes to the search for a new social network. All this slowly brings us to the scenario that Facebook was experiencing a few years ago.

Namely, the older population is not interested in Instagram, just like the younger population, who are more on Tik Tok. What remains for Instagram is to keep the current target group that is slowly losing interest. This is where we come to the problem, which is that little by little Instagram is starting to lose its popularity, and many are wondering if it will be shut down completely.
Certainly, Instagram will not completely lose its current importance for a long time, considering Influencer marketing which is still very popular. What is more likely to happen is the exact scenario that happened to Facebook. This means that Instagram would still remain a significant social network, but only for a certain target group. Others, especially the younger ones, will certainly turn to other social networks. Especially to those who focused their communication only on one goal or on one target group, because the problem with Instagram is exactly that, too much of everything, and the focus is on nothing. It's like walking into a flower shop that also sells car parts and cosmetics.
The truth is, world is changing, taregt audience, too. There will always be new social media, but for each the focus should be on smaller audience with more specific needs. This, in the future, could help more even brands when using right platform for reaching their target audience. So, for sure, social media that are puting more focus on one or two things, will be more popular than those like Instagram who is trying to be evrything and failing in it.
