While it is important to live in the present since it is the only sure thing we have, we should think of some aspects of the future. This means being prepared on what comes, which, when talking about marketing and design jobs, means a lot of change. Only few years ago when I would say "digital marketing" people would ask "What is that?" and comment "There is no future in it, you should find more serious job". Many people who were saying this to me back then, today are one of those who are trying to build their career in digital marketing. This goes with influencer marketing, social media, web design and many more.
The truth is that we never know what future brings, about what we can be sure of is that is changing really fast. So the saying" learning never stops" has never been more accurate.

Artificial intelligence grows from day to day and it is near future when it will replace a lot of jobs we know for today. Marketing is one of the industries in which at the same way AI will be helpful and pernicious. A lot of human creative work is being replaced with smart tools that help people get as good branding as if it was made by human.
However, we have to look at the bright side and the fact that AI will not take the job from the marketers but make it more rewarding. How is this possible? Marketers today do a lot of work which is not creative and they do not have time to do what actually makes them feel happy, in most cases that's creativity. AI will speed the process and marketers will be able to do more of a work which makes them feel more happy of doing.
The truth is that nowadays, no matter in which industry you work, you have to adapt to the new technologies. Remember not to be scared of it, but take the best of it.
